Ihr Sohn Felix und dessen Frau Esther Nussbaumer stiegen im Januar 2000 in den Familienbetrieb ein. 10 Jahre später übernahmen sie die Geschäftsführung der Kolibri AG.

Der Firmenname "Kolibri" verdanken wir dem Prototyp des Triebwagens RBDe 4/4 der SBB, welcher Aufgrund seiner auffallenden Buntheit den Spitznamen Kolibri erhielt.
